Our Aim

Minerva May School is dedicated to developing strong partnerships with our parents, local authorities and other agencies to nurture independent students who are ready for adulthood. We empower children and young individuals who have encountered trauma and disruption during their formative years by providing them with bespoke education tailored to their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

At the core of our mission is the provision of a secure, calm, supportive, and motivating environment for children and young people. We seek to instil ambition, engagement, attainment, and independence while addressing the challenges of previous childhood experience.

We aspire to attain and uphold preferred provider status with the local authorities we collaborate with. We are deeply dedicated to operating in line with the statutory and regulatory requirements in place for all independent SEMH schools in the UK, and this dedication is (at all times) reflected through our school policies, operations, guidelines, procedures, and handbooks.

Our aim is to deliver high standards of personalised education that closely aligns with the specific requirements of each child or young person. When planning and providing education and interventions, we endeavour to consider the employment, further education and life goals of each young person.
