Communication and Complaints
At Minerva May School, we strive to communicate effectively with our parents, students, and the wider school community. However, we understand that sometimes we might not communicate as well as we’d like or may occasionally make mistakes.
We are dedicated to addressing concerns quickly, fairly, and with care. We encourage parents, carers, and others in our school community to raise any concerns they may have as soon as possible. In most cases, this can be done by speaking directly with the member of staff involved, who will aim to resolve the issue promptly.
You can contact us in the following ways:
By letter: Minerva May School, Dovenby Hall, 271 Balcombe Road, Horley, Surrey, RH6 9UU
By email: schooloffice@minervamayschool.org
By telephone: 07487 624260
In person: By making an appointment with the school office
When reaching out to us, please include details about what happened, when it occurred, who was involved, and how you would like us to resolve the matter.
If you're not satisfied with the outcome, Minerva May School has a formal Complaints Policy that provides a clear structure for handling your complaint. You can access this policy via the link below or request a hard copy from the school office.
In the first instance, all complaints should be directed to our Headteacher, Melvin George. You can contact them by phone at 07930 473750 or by email at MelvinGeorge@minervamayschool.org.
